In the beginning there was a post on social media 'hmu if you like Oblivians, Birthday Party, Blues Explosion... I wanna start a band' from bored out of his mind singer and guitarist Thomas who moved to LA in the midst of the covid pandemic (hence the extreme boredom). Anyway, so Julian, bass / guitar player, responded to that, said that sounded cool and all and a pact was signed in blood at Footsies over the cover of Suicide's first LP... After that there were a few sloppy attempts with drummers and keyboardists and guitarists, but you know 'man it just ain't tight enough!!!' screamed Thomas so he resorted to looking in the shadiest place in LA to find the missing piece, right, and of course that's Craigslist. And boy oh boy didn't they find a machine of a drummer there, Dan is the name, and they met at the Roadhouse, they didn't understand a word they told each other but both thought 'who the hell is that guy, I like him!!'. Ok so first show they were SO DAMN GOOD that guitarist Ian asked to join the band and you know, sure why not. Then fast forward, they played a bunch a shows, raw and intense shows, word of mouth word of mouth, John Robb of Louder Than War called them a 'jet-propelled garage rock shakedown' while 'my favorite band in LA' was declared about them by a few drunks with great taste in music. And then they played a Nick Cave tribute night at Zebulon with the likes of Gregg Forman (RIP), Kid Congo, David J., members of Black Lips..., and then opened for Lydia Lunch, Escapism and Automatic and played 666 times at Monty... until they had to stop, lay low for a while and deal with legal issues that are too complex for a rock'n'roll fan to comprehend (this means you). But that's all sorted out now and after a line-up change, they're back: Thomas sings alright, Julian is on guitar and Dan is still on drums. Becca joined on lead guitar and Dee on bass. Their debut single 'The Filthiest / The Body' came out early 2026. They've since opened for Plague Vendor, Bloodshot Bill and Toody Cole of Dead Moon, traveled along the West Coast to promote the single and are currently preparing their next release on Psylk Records, while planning tours for 2027.
